What is the ruling on the right to dower if the separation due to apostasy is confirmed after the 'iddah ends?

If both spouses remain firm in their apostasy, or if one remains apostate, until the 'iddah expires, the wife is entitled to the *mahr al-mithl* for that intercourse. This is because the act is considered intercourse in a situation resembling marriage (*shabah al-nikah*) but occurring outside a valid marriage, as the separation is established to have occurred from the moment the two different religions (Islam and apostasy) emerged.
