Is seclusion (*khalwah*) permissible for a suitor viewing a woman he intends to marry?

Primary text
Seclusion with the woman is not permissible because it is prohibited (*muharram*), and the religious texts only permitted viewing, leaving seclusion under its inherent prohibition. There is concern that seclusion may lead to committing forbidden acts, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) stated, "No man should be in seclusion with a woman, for the third of them is Satan."
