If she desires a specific suitable suitor, and the guardian refuses to marry her to the one she desires, intending to marry her to another suitable match, this constitutes obstruction.

Supporting text

However, if she requests marriage to someone who is not a suitable match for her, the guardian may prevent it without being considered obstructive, as he has the right to seek annulment if such a marriage occurred.
