It is permissible for the creditor to allow the debtor to pay the full Kitabah debt early, in exchange for the creditor remitting a specified portion of the debt. This is considered a valid prepayment transaction (ta'jil), and the creditor is permitted to waive the remaining right upon receiving the advanced payment.

If one party retracts their promise concerning this early payment arrangement before the actual prepayment occurs, they retain the right to retract because a deferred debt cannot be made to become due prematurely by mere promise; rather, it requires the actual act of early payment.
