Primary text

It is not permissible for the installment schedule to result in one master receiving a greater portion of the compensation before the final installment compared to the other master. This is because the distribution of payments must occur equally, and no master should be prioritized in receiving payment over the other.

Supporting text

The alternative view permits this if adjustments can be made, such as anticipating payments for the delayed party or allowing the other owner to authorize earlier payments to his partner. If the contract's true objective can still be met, potential deviations in the installment schedule should not invalidate the contract.
