Primary text

If the mukatab is capable of payment, he must be required to travel to the city where the master resides to pay the sum, or appoint an agent (wakil) to do so. If the mukatab pays at the earliest possible time, such as when the caravan departs (if travel is only possible then), dissolution is not permissible. However, if he delays beyond the time of possibility and the journey duration passes, the master gains the option of dissolution.
