What is the ruling if the contracted person claims inability to pay immediately upon demand due to the wealth being nearby?

Book of Mukātaba (Contractual Manumission)
Primary text
If the contracted person claims the wealth is unavailable at the exact location of the demand, being in a part of the city or close by such that prayer is not shortened (less than the distance of shortening prayer), and requests a delay to bring it, rescission of the *Kitabah* is not permitted. A grace period is granted for the time needed to retrieve it, provided a delay is requested, because this short absence causes no harm.
