If the master stipulates: 'I agree to your manumission in exchange for you serving me this month, and tailoring such-and-such immediately following the month,' this contract is valid according to the consensus of all scholars.
Supporting text
If the master stipulates: 'I agree to your manumission in exchange for you serving me for one month from this moment, and another month immediately following this month,' this contract is also valid, according to our evidence, as it is stipulated upon two *anjum*.
