What is the ruling on property remaining with a Mukatab after he has fulfilled his manumission payment?

If the Mukatab fulfills the payment but retains some property, the ruling concerning returning that property or the master taking it for himself is the same as the ruling concerning the master taking property when the Mukatab is unable to pay. This is because the retained property remains after the manumission status has ceased.
