Is the sale of a contractually obligated slave ('mukatab') and their child together valid?

The sale of a contractually obligated slave who has a child accompanying them in the contract of manumission is valid. Since both the mother and the child belong to the seller, there is no impediment to selling them together, and they remain with the buyer just as they were with the seller.
