Is a sale by a mukatab with favor/benevolence (muhadhabah) valid if permitted by the master?

If the master permits his mukatab to sell with favoritism, the sale is valid, and the master retains the right to claim preemption over the property because a sale involving favoritism, when authorized by the master, is valid.
