What is the ruling when a man claims paternity of one twin but denies the other, provided the births are less than six months apart?

Primary text
If a man claims paternity of one twin while denying the other, both children are attributed to him. This is because a single pregnancy cannot consist of parts from different fathers. Establishing the paternity of one necessitates the establishment of the other by necessity, making the denied child follow the claimed one. This is done by favoring the establishment of lineage over its denial. If a woman bears a child whose paternity could belong to him or another, it is attributed to him as a precaution for establishing lineage, not negated for the precaution of denying it.
