Is the testimony valid if two witnesses testify that a person slandered his wife and that they are safe (*amna*)?

The testimony is not accepted. Since the testimony was rejected regarding a part of the claim (the slander against the witnesses themselves, implied by the context of needing to be safe), it must be rejected entirely concerning the whole claim (slander against the wife).
