Must the wife demand the initiation of the hadd or li'an after being falsely accused by her husband?

Primary text
The hadd is not imposed, nor is li'an sought from the husband, unless his wife demands it, because this is her right. Therefore, it is not established without her request, similar to other rights belonging to her. Her guardian cannot demand the hadd/li'an if she is insane or legally restricted, nor can the guardian of a minor or the master of a slave woman demand the ta'zir on their behalf, as this is a right established for personal vindication (tashaffi), and another cannot stand in the place of the entitled party, analogous to retribution (qisas).
