Menstruation does not prevent the counting of the Ila' waiting period. If it did prevent the counting, the period would never be completed, as menstruation generally occurs every month, which would lead to nullifying the ruling of Ila'. If menstruation occurs during the period, it does not stop the counting based on the established principle.
