If a man has been castrated (*majjbub*) and it is ruled that his vow of abstinence (*iyla') is valid, then the ruling of the excused person applies. He must make a declaration (*fay’a*) by stating, 'If I had the power, I would have engaged in sexual intercourse with her.'
