Is swearing by the Mushaf (Quran in physical form) a binding oath?

An oath sworn by the Mushaf is established and binding. This view is held by Imam [unspecified authority/madhab] and Ishaq. The intention behind swearing by the Mushaf is swearing by what is written within it, which is the Quran, universally agreed to be contained between its covers. Qatadah used to swear by the Mushaf.
