Primary text

If an oath is sworn stating that the swearer has erased the Mus'haf, or that they commit theft or murder of a soul Allah has forbidden, and the condition is met (Hanith), no expiation (Kaffarah) is obligatory. This opinion holds because these acts are considered less severe than associating partners with Allah (Shirk).
