In *Sharikat al-Wujuh*, the loss is borne according to the proportion of ownership in the purchased item, regardless of whether the profit was intended to be shared according to that proportion or not. This applies whether the loss results from spoilage, a decrease in the selling price compared to the purchase price, or any other cause.
