Primary text
If the capital provider authorizes the managing partner to purchase from the partnership funds, and the managing partner buys a female slave for personal concubinage, the price is debited from the partnership funds and becomes a personal debt (qard) upon the managing partner. This is because the permissibility of marital relations (al-bud'u) is only established through legal ownership, based on the statement of Allah Almighty: "except from their spouses or those whom their right hands possess" (Quran 23:6).
