Is a purchase made by the agent on his personal liability valid?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Partnership
Primary text
If the agent purchased the second slave on his personal liability (in his *dhimma*), the purchase is valid, and the slave belongs to the agent. This occurs because the agent purchased something on his personal liability for someone else without permission for that specific purchase, thus the outcome defaults to the agent.
Supporting text
