The working partner is not obligated to perform tasks that are not customarily associated with his role, such as announcing goods or transporting them to the inn. For these matters, he has the right to hire someone else to do them. This ruling is based on the principle that specific labor is not stipulated in Mudarabah due to the difficulty of imposing it, reverting the determination of labor to custom (Urf). Imam Ahmad stated this principle.
