Is an acknowledgement of receiving a pledge (qabdh) by the pledgor or pledgee accepted?

The acknowledgement by the pledgor (rahin) that he delivered the pledge, or the acknowledgement by the pledgee (murtahin) that he received it, is accepted concerning matters in which their truthfulness can be verified.
