Can the mortgagor use a breeding animal (stud) that is pledged?

Primary text
If the pledged item is a stud animal, the mortgagor cannot use it for breeding unless the mortgagee consents. This is because using it is an enjoyment that does not benefit the pledge itself, similar to general utilization. However, if the animal reaches a state where failing to breed it causes harm, then breeding is permissible because it is analogous to medical treatment for the animal.
