What occurs if one of two custodians dies or their status changes while jointly holding the pledged item?

If the pledged item is in the possession of two custodians and one of them dies, or his condition changes due to immorality, weakness in safekeeping, or enmity between him and one of the contracting parties, a new trustworthy custodian shall be appointed to join the remaining custodian, and they shall guard the item together.
