The cost of returning an absconded slave to the mortgagor is borne by the mortgagor.
Supporting text
Abu Hanifa contends that the cost is split: it falls upon the mortgagor to the extent of the trustee's liability (Amanah) and upon the mortgagee to the extent of his guarantee (Daman).
