If the pledgee alone confirms the admission of damage, his right is attached to the compensation (*arsh*), and he is entitled to take possession of it.
Supporting text
If the pledgor then fulfills the debt or the pledgee absolves him of the debt, the compensation returns to the perpetrator of the damage (*jani*), and the pledgor has no right to it.
