What is the ruling on a slave permitted by his master to trade (Ma'dhun) engaging in credit sales?

The Qadi has ruled that a Ma'dhun is not permitted to engage in credit transactions, whether his master provided capital for trade or not. This prohibition exists because any debts incurred fall upon the master's liability, thereby causing him detriment, unlike the case of the Mukatab.
