What is the ruling if some heirs pardon a fatal injury inflicted by a slave upon their master in exchange for compensation?

If some of the heirs pardon the injury, the right to retaliation (qisas) is forfeited. Whether the remaining non-pardoning heirs are entitled to their share of the blood money (diyah) is subject to two differing juristic views.
