If they dispute whether the revocation occurred before the sale, the statement of the pledgee is accepted, as the presumption is against revocation and against the sale occurring before revocation. Since these presumptions conflict, the original state remains: the item is still a pledge. This aligns with the view of Al-Shafi'i.
