If they agree the debt is two thousand, but the pledgor states the pledge covers only one thousand, while the pawnee claims it covers both thousand units, the statement of the pledgor, supported by his oath, prevails. This is because the pledgor denies the attachment of the pawnee's right to the second thousand against his slave.
