What is the ruling regarding the followers (Ta'ifa) who are praying behind an Imam when the Imam makes a mistake after they separate?

After the separation from the Imam, if the Imam makes a mistake, the ruling concerning his mistake does not apply to the followers. If the followers make a mistake after separation, the ruling concerning their mistake applies to them because they are then considered praying individually (munfaridun).
