If the opinion holds that the follower recites Al-Fatiha and another Surah in the makeup portion, the practical difference appears only in matters such as the initial invocation (Istiftah) and seeking refuge (Ta'awwudh) upon separating from the Imam, and regarding the position of sitting for the first Tashahhud, specifically for one who catches only one Rak'ah of Maghrib or a four-Rak'ah prayer.
