At what stage does the urine of a male child become subject to washing instead of sprinkling?

When the male child begins eating solid food with desire and intent for sustenance, his urine necessitates washing. Simply being given something to taste or lick for medicinal purposes does not count as food that imposes washing. The criterion is eating for nourishment and desire.
