What is the consequence of reciting a specific supplication upon hearing the Adhan regarding the Prophet's intercession?

If one recites upon hearing the Adhan: 'O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the established prayer, grant Muhammad the Wasilah (high station) and the Fadilah (excellence), and raise him to the praised station which You have promised him,' the intercession of the Prophet on the Day of Resurrection will be lawful for them. This is narrated by Jaber and recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari.
