What is the content of the supplication for Istikhara?

The supplication affirms God's absolute knowledge and infinite power, stating, 'O Allah, I seek guidance through Your knowledge, and I seek power through Your might, and I ask of Your great favor, for indeed You have power and I do not have power, and You know and I do not know, and You are the Knower of the unseen.' It then requests either facilitation and blessing for the matter if it is good, or turning away from it if it is harmful, followed by a request for contentment with the decreed good.
