If the follower knows the Imam rose due to forgetfulness and they glorify (say 'Subhan Allah') to alert him, must the follower follow him if he proceeds?

Chapter on the Traveler's Prayer

Primary text

If the follower knows the Imam rose due to forgetfulness and they glorify (tasbih) to correct him, the follower is not obligated to follow him because forgetfulness does not mandate compliance. The follower has the option to depart if the Imam does not return to the correct form, similar to rising for a third rak'ah in Fajr prayer. If they follow him, their prayers are not invalidated because the addition does not invalidate the Imam's prayer, and thus does not invalidate the follower's prayer following it, just as verbal additions do not invalidate the prayer. Furthermore, if they separated from the Imam and completed the prayer, it would be valid, making conformity preferable.

Supporting text

The view of Al-Qadi is that their prayers are invalidated because they intentionally added two rak'ahs.
