Is the Imamate of a soldier or a eunuch permissible if their religious conduct is sound?
Chapter on Imamate and Congregational Prayer

Book of Prayer
Primary text
The leadership in prayer of a soldier or a castrated person (Khasi) is not disliked if their religious conduct is sound. This is due to the principle established concerning the validity of a slave's Imamate, and because such an individual is considered a just person among those eligible for leadership, thus resembling others in this regard.
