Impurity is not purified through chemical transformation (Istihalah). If impure dung is burned and turns to ash, or if a dog falls into a salt mine and becomes salt, it does not become pure. This is because the impurity did not originate through transformation, so it cannot be purified by it, similar to blood turning into pus or wound discharge. However, if wine falls upon it, it becomes impure through transformation, so purification by transformation is permissible in that case.
