Primary text

The commencement of the initial Takbir should coincide with the beginning of raising the head from prostration, and its conclusion must be when one is fully upright in standing. This ensures the Takbir encompasses the entire prescribed section of the pillar. This timing applies to all subsequent Takbirat (for rising), with an exception for the one performing the sitting of repose (jalsat al-istiraha). For the one sitting, the Takbir concludes upon finishing the sitting, and they then rise to stand without an additional Takbir.

Abu al-Khattab held that one rises while saying Takbir. This view is considered incorrect because it results in chaining two Takbirat within one pillar section where the law did not prescribe combining them.
