It is legislatively recommended to hasten the Jumu'ah prayer at any time after the sun passes its zenith, without delay for cooling down ('Ibraad'). This is established by the practice of Salama ibn al-Akwa', who stated, 'We used to perform Jumu'ah with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when the sun passed its zenith,' a practice agreed upon by the collectors. There is no report that the Prophet (peace be upon him) delayed it; rather, he hastened it, to the extent that Sahl ibn Sa'd reported they would neither take their afternoon nap nor eat their lunch until after the Jumu'ah prayer. Hastening the prayer is aligned with the Sunnah of early movement toward it, ensuring people gather without undue delay, which would cause hardship if the Friday prayer were postponed.
