It is not recommended (*la yustahab*) to immediately follow the completion of the recitation of the entire Quran with reading anything further, specifically mentioning Surah Al-Baqarah after Surah An-Nas. This opinion is attributed to Ahmad. The justification is likely that no sound established report (*athar sahih*) reached him concerning the practice of immediately reciting something after finishing the recitation.
