Is it permissible for an individual unable to stand to lead a congregation of similar individuals?

Primary text
It is permissible for one unable to stand to lead others who are similarly unable to stand. This is because if he is permitted to lead those capable of standing, leading those like himself is even more appropriate. It is not a condition for their following him that he be a regular Imam, nor that his illness is expected to cease. This is because his leadership over them does not involve neglecting an obligatory act that they are capable of performing, which is contrary to leading those capable of standing.
