Is it permissible to pronounce the Adhan while riding a mount (like an animal)?

It is permissible to pronounce the Adhan while on a riding animal. Abu Abdullah was asked about the Adhan on a mount and found it permissible, stating that the matter of the Adhan is easy. Ibn Umar narrated that he used to call the Adhan while on his mount and then descend to pronounce the Iqamah (second call). By analogy, if voluntary worship (*nawafil*) is permitted on a mount, the Adhan is even more fittingly permissible.
