It is permissible to recite the Quran while one is traveling on the road. This position is supported by the actions of predecessors, such as Ishaq ibn Ibrahim observing Abu Abdullah reciting Surah Al-Kahf while heading to the mosque. Furthermore, Ibrahim al-Tamimi reported reading to Abu Musa while he was walking on the road, and Abu Musa confirmed that prostration (Sajdah) was permissible even while on the road.
