Is it recommended for an Imam leading residents to instruct them to complete their prayer after his final salutation?

It is recommended for the Imam, after concluding the prayer with those who are residents (*muqimin*), to instruct them saying, "Complete (the rest of the prayer), for indeed we are travelers (*safar*)." This recommendation is based on the established Hadith regarding this instruction. The purpose is to prevent confusion for the ignorant person regarding the number of units (rak'ahs) of the prayer, lest they believe that the four-rak'ah prayers are only two rak'ahs.
