It is not recommended for the Imam to prolong the prayer or increase the glorification beyond three repetitions. This ruling is established so as not to overburden the followers (Ma'mumun). The judge (Al-Qadi) affirms this position.
Supporting text
If the congregation consists of few people and they consent to prolongation, it is recommended for the Imam to perform the complete glorification, as previously detailed. This exception also applies when the Imam is praying alone.
