Abu Bakr considered the act of saying 'Allahu Akbar' at the end of every Surah, starting from Surah Ad-Duha until the end of the Qur'an, to be laudable. The basis for this is the narration from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who reported that when he recited the Qur'an to the Prophet, peace be upon him, the Prophet commanded him to do so. This narration was recorded by Al-Qadi in his 'Al-Jami' with its chain of transmission.
