The dog and the pig are impure in all their parts, excretions, and anything detached from them. Regarding other beasts of prey, birds of prey, mules, and donkeys, there is a report from Ahmad (may Allah have mercy on him) stating they are impure in all their parts and excretions, but a minor amount of their impurity is pardoned. Another report from him suggests their purity. If deemed impure, their ruling is similar to that of humans, as detailed previously.
