Does prayer become invalidated if something that invalidates prayer passes between the praying person and their barrier (Sutrah)?

If something that normally invalidates prayer passes between the praying person and their barrier, the prayer is invalidated. If it is something that does not invalidate prayer, it is disliked (makruh).
